MEET OUR CAST: MEGAN MCCLAIN
A native of Dauphin, PA, Megan has been a performer since the tender age of 6. She holds an
Associate’s degree in Theatre/Performing Arts from Harrisburg Area Community College and has
performed on stages throughout Central PA. In addition to acting, she received her dance training with the Capital Area Dance Theater, under the direction of Holly Loutzenheiser-Mora and Sandra Carlino as well as the Harrisburg Dance Conservatory, under the direction of Forrest Gehret, Richard Hoskinson, Cherie Noble, David Ogden and Rosemary Battista. She also performed with the Harrisburg Ballet in such ballets as Coppelia, Les Sylphides, Swan Lake, The Nutcracker, Romeo and Juliet, and Dracula. In addition to her training, she is also a teacher and choreographer in the Central PA area.
Some of her favorite stage roles include Mona in Come Back to the Five and Dime, Jimmy Dean, Jimmy Dean; Essie in You Can’t Take it With You; Francine in The Burning Bed; Tzeitel in Fiddler on the Roof; and Anita in Wrong Turn at Lungfish, for which she earned a Best Actress Omie.

MEET OUR CAST: PAUL HOOD
Paul Hood is a Playwright/Director from Harrisburg, PA. His plays have featured throughout the tri-state and Central PA regions. Credits as a Playwright include: The Imposter's Snow Cone Machine (Hershey Area Playhouse) The Itch of Gloria Fitch (Produced by Narcisse Theatre Company at Hmac's Capitol Room) and My Electric Life (performed as a workshop production by Theatre of The Seventh Sister in Lancaster, PA.) Directing credits include: Feed us to the Woods a play by Randy Gross (performed as a workshop production at Gamut Theatre's Studio in Harrisburg, Pa.) Superior Donuts by Tracy Letts (Oyster Mill Playhouse) and Topdog/Underdog by Suzan Lori-Parks (Narcisse Theatre Company). Hood is a 1992 graduate of CASA (formerly Harrisburg Arts Magnet School) where he studied media production. He also studied creative writing at Wilkes University.

written for the 2013 Lancaster PA 24-Hour Plays, and directed by the
author. This production stars Stephen
Hensel, Robert Davis, and Meredith Snook, with narration by Kass McGann. Original music composed by Lindy Mack. Produced by Keith E. Bowerman.
